Precious Actress Gets A New Job!!
Oh!!! This sounds so good!! Suck it, Howard Stern ! Gabourey Sidibe , the Oscar-nominated star of Precious , has just signed on to be a reccuring guest star on a new Showtime series starring Laura Linney and Oliver Platt !! The half hour dark comedy, called The Big C , revolves around Cathy (played by Linney) a Connecticut wife and mom who reclaims her life after she is diagnosed with terminal cancer. Sidibe will reportedly be portraying a student in Cathy’s class who has some major ‘tude.

Spartacus Star Diagnosed With Cancer
Oh no! Andy Whitfield , the star of the HOMOlicious series Spartacus: Blood and Sand , has been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma! Poor thing!! So scary!! The actor discovered the cancer during a routine check up, and production of the show’s second season has been postponed while he undergoes treatment. According to the Starz network, Whitfield was lucky enough to catch the cancer early, and it is completely treatable.
