4th Of July Disney Crash Turns Deadly!
A two monorail train crash at Walt Disney World in Lake Buena Vista, FL, early Sunday morning resulted in the death of a Disney monorail driver!! Awful! The crash was the first deadly accident for the theme park’s monorail system in its 38 year history! One of the monorail trains was making its last stops around the park at 2 a.m. after the annual Independence Day fireworks show when the monorail was struck by another train with 21-year-old Austin Wuennenberg behind the wheel. Wuennenberg was pronounced dead on the scene after not responding to passengers and firefighters alike.
