Glee Goes Gold!
With their tracks selling like hotcakes on iTunes, it was bound to happen sooner or later! The Glee cast recording of Journey ’s Don’t Stop Believin has been certified gold after being downloaded (legally) more than 500,000 times! Actress Lea Michele says: “The great thing about our show is that some of the songs that we do sound very close to the original and others are completely re-done and ‘mashed up.’ It’s great that we’ve brought these old songs back and we’ve put a new twist to them, while still honoring the amazing songs that they are.” 7 of the cast recordings are on the iTunes top 200 chart and singles from Glee have been downloaded more than 2 million times! Jon Gosselin is firmly stating that he and former Star magazine reporter/slut Kate Major are in no way romantically involved. Welcome Home, Wino!
We can’t believe she made it back in one piece! A teary-eyed Amy Winehouse arrived at London’s Gatwick airport Monday morning after the hard-pAArtying singer’s extended 8-month stay in St Lucia! She’s so happy to be home, she cried!!!! Wino, sans beehive (thank God!), was looking a million times better than she has in previous months. According to her spokesperson, Wino’s “really happy” to be back in the UK and “can’t wait to catch up with family and friends.” That’s not what we’ve heard! Apparently Amy outstayed her welcome on the island! The locals were reportedly fed up with Wino’s drunken antics and has been banned from hotels, bars, the whole nine.
500 Million Hope To Attend MJ’s Memorial!
The Staples Center must have bulked up their servers big time! The venue’s website was visited over 500 million times within the first hour of opening registration for Michael Jackson ’s memorial !!!! Out of those 500 million, only 17,500 fans will be awarded a ticket for the memorial service through a lottery. Although the Jackson family set up the lottery to cut down on confusion, you just know that shiz will be on Craigslist in a few days for major $$$$$! [ Image via WENN .]
