Oprah’s Back And Talking About…
The 25th and final season of The Oprah Winfrey Show premieres on Monday and the talk show queen is keeping the deets on the down low. All we know is that the first episode on September 13th will be “featuring special appearances by celebrity guests and a surprise musical performance.” We want more than that! In the next week, the big O will talk to Naomi and Wynonna Judd about their farewell tour, discuss the consequences of the 1987 AIDS breakout in Williamson, West Virginia, devote an episode to people making headlines around the world, and ending the week “jam-packed with surprises galore.” Oprah will also announce her 64th Book Club selection

Chris Klein Serves Four Days Behind Bars!
At least he’s owning up to his mistakes! Chris Klein served 96 hours in jail for his second DUI in June. He was also sentenced to four years probation, fines and an 18-month alcohol education class
A British Version Of The Daily Show??
Exciting! The UK’s Channel 4 is developing what sounds like their own version of The Daily Show ! The topical comedy show, set to air in October, will broadcast live on Thursday or Friday nights, and will most likely feature David Mitchell , Jimmy Carr , Charlie Brooker , and Lauren Laverne - who previously worked together on the four hour Alternative Election Night back in May! We want to watch! We bet British humor will work VERY well with that kind of format! Thoughts??

That seemed fast! Robert Halderman , the former CBS 48 Hours producer who was sent to jail for attempted extortion of David Letterman , was released from jail after serving 4 months out of 6 month sentence. We wonder how Dave feels about that
