Piers, who is currently on NBC’s America’s Got Talent , knows that CNN is interested in him taking over the coveted spot and sources say he’s “utterly thrilled by the prospect of the deal and knows that taking over the Larry King show means that something will have to give.” In fact, he’s already talked about it with Britain ’s boss Simon Cowell who sources say gave him “his blessing.” NBC would like to see Piers stay with their network as they have apparently offered him a nightly show similar to his ITV series Piers Morgan’s Life Stories
