New Coldplay Track!!

Coldplay has reportedly started working on their new album, due out around Christmas, and premiered a new track, called Don Quixote , in Buenos Aires during the Latin leg of their tour!! Frontman Chris Martin says toward the beginning that the song is a tribute to their Spanish-speaking fanbase, so we’re not sure it will make it onto their new album.

The veteran of the stage and screen has teamed up with publisher Weidenfeld & Nicolson to write her memoir that will overlook her long and lucritve career and her 30-year marriage to actor Michael Williams , who died in 2001 after losing his battle with lung cancer. Look for it regally sitting on shelves this October.

Due to financial difficulties, the EMI record label may be sold to Warner Music Group within the year. “I would auction off the music publishing business and dump the recorded music business to Warner,” said analyst Michael Nathanson when asked about possible scenarios for the company. According to another analyst at Standard & Poor’s Equity Research, Tuba Amobi, a deal is a possibility because the parent company of EMI, Terra Firma, is “much more dire straights” than it has been in the past.
