Blink-182 Cancel Performance To Grieve
Blink-182 has pulled out of performing at SPAC in Saratoga, NY, Monday night due to the recent passing of the band’s close friend, DJ AM .
Did Anyone Even Watch The Daytime Emmys?
The Daytime Emmys have never pulled a huge audience, and Sunday night was no exception! Only 2.68 million people tuned into the 36th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards Ceremony on The CW - with a 0.6/2 rating/share, and the pre-show red carpet parade drew a dismal 1.21 million viewers to the network. Paula Did Not Leave Idol Due To $$$$?!
As much as we love to hear her slur her words, she never really gets to the point! Paula Abdul claims that the reason she stepped down from the American Idol judging table was NOT due to money, although she doesn’t give any other reason. “I had to stand on my principle,” Abdul tells TV Guide . “I’m going to miss the experience of watching young talent evolve into a place where they get to take off and soar.” Or fall into the abyss?! She continues, “I stand on principle where many people stand on money.
Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt: Sin City Partiers
Spending the weekend together in Sin City, Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt made a stop at Rogue for a “DJ Hero” party on Sunday evening (August 30). According to a source on the scene, Paris happily posed with the new video game hardware, which received design help from the late DJ AM, before the newly rekindled couple headed off to Body English at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino for an appearance.

The View Makes Daytime Emmy History!
Congrats ladies of The View !!! Barbara Walters , Whoopi Goldberg , Joy Behar , Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd are the first daytime hosts to ever pick up a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Talk Show Host as an ensemble cast!! Sadly, Babs & Co. weren’t in attendance at Sunday night’s awards ceremony to pick up their statues, but the award marks the first win for The View in the Outstanding Talk Show Host category - an honor they’ve been up for 11 times! Finally! Walters, The View ’s executive producer and host, is “very proud of the women” and more than happy to share the award with her collegues
Meow! Audrina Verbally Claws Heidi!
As if she’s one to judge talent! Audrina Patridge had nothing nice to say about her Hills costar Heidi Montag ’s foray into the music world! And it’s quite the statement for someone about unleash her empty stare acting talents onto the masses! “I feel like Heidi, you know, she’s doing it for fun, where a lot of singers and people, they work their ass off, and they actually have amazing voices and they can really sing and perform, and I feel like a lot of people don’t get to experience what Heidi has, going on in front of a billion people and perform on TV,” says Ceiling Eyes. “I just don’t think she’s taking it that serious, and that’s what’s kind of disappointing for me, for music lovers out there.” But, Audrina claims she knows her shiz! “On the movie, I went to my acting coach twice a week and I memorized all the lines,” she said of appearing in slasher flick Sorority Row with Potato Head .
DJ AM’s Death: Still Waiting for Answers
Medical examiners continue to work on the details of Adam Goldstein’s unexpected death and say, “Everything is still pending. Nothing has changed.” An autopsy Saturday was inconclusive, and investigators are banking on toxicology tests to help figure out the cause of death for the 36-year-old DJ.
